Allianz Life expands health options, boosting hospital coverage 50%

Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia (Allianz Life) launched Allianz AssuredLink, a new investment-linked insurance plan with the HealthAssured medical rider.

HealthAssured introduces new features, including a 20% discount on the Cost of Insurance (COI) at sign-up and a continued 20% COI discount if no claims are made during the review period.

Allianz Life Chief Executive Officer Charles Ong stated that the plan is designed to offer extensive coverage and added value.

Customers can also choose between 5% or 15% co-insurance based on their financial needs.

An Assured Booster Campaign, running from 1 March to 30 April, offers additional benefits for those who sign up, including a 50% increase in Hospital Room & Board coverage, an extra RM15m in overall annual coverage, and an extended post-hospitalisation treatment period of up to 365 days.
