Aspen names new global head of cyber

He will oversee the global cyber underwriting team.

Bobby Bianconi has been appointed as the Global Head of Cyber at Aspen Insurance Holdings.

Aspen operates through wholly-owned subsidiaries in Bermuda, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and have branch operations in Canada, Singapore, and Switzerland.

Bianconi, who has been with Aspen since 2016, brings over a decade of underwriting experience to his new role, having most recently served as the Head of US Cyber.

Before joining Aspen, Bianconi managed the Cyber portfolio for the Western United States at Allied World and held underwriting positions at HCC Specialty and Valiant.

He is based in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, and in his new position, Bianconi will lead Aspen's Global Cyber underwriting team, overseeing underwriting strategy and risk management. 

Additionally, he will continue to oversee Aspen's enhanced Cyber Risk Platform, which offers innovative pre-incident services to primary insureds worldwide.

Bianconi holds designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US).
