AXA China launches instant-issue health plan with 3-question policy sign-up
It has no deductibles for covered services within the coverage area, AXA said.
AXA Global Healthcare China has launched the SmartCare Essential Pro Plan, promising a simpler application process and accessible underwriting terms.
Customers complete a three-question medical questionnaire and receive a policy immediately upon payment, with no manual underwriting involved, AXA said.
It also removes out-of-pocket costs, with no deductible for covered services within the coverage area.
From the fourth year of continuous renewal, verified pre-existing conditions become eligible for cover.
SmartCare Essential Pro Plan is insured by AXA Tianping P&C Insurance Co., Ltd. It can only be sold in mainland China.
AXA said that the product was rolled out in response to two specific demands from the Chinese market: more accessible underwriting terms for customers with pre-existing conditions, and a simpler application process for intermediaries and customers alike.
