AXA XL Insurance unveils new Asia CEO

She succeeds Gilles Fromageot.

AXA XL Insurance appointed Sylvie Gleises as regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Asia, effective 24 March.

Based in Singapore, she will lead the company’s strategic direction and operations in the region whilst continuing as CEO of AXA XL Singapore Insurance.

She succeeds Gilles Fromageot, who has been named CEO of AXA Morocco and CIMA.

Gleises has been with AXA Group since 2006, holding leadership roles including CEO of Continental Europe & Global head of Distribution & Marketing at AXA Art, head of Revenue Synergies, and head of Client Management at AXA XL.

Gleises holds degrees from ESCP French business school and the London School of Economics.

She is President of the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and a member of the Global Advisory Board of TEFAF.
