Beazley reels new head of APAC

She joined the company back in 2007.

Specialist insurer, Beazley, has appointed Jessica Schappell as its new head of Asia Pacific (APAC).

Her role, beginning 1 August, will focus on leading the APAC business to deliver Beazley’s growth plans in the region. She will also oversee and chair the Asia Pacific Management Committee (APMC).

She will be based in Singapore. Schappell will report to Paul Bantick, Global Head of Cyber Risks.

Schappell joined Beazley in 2007 and has held roles in both New York and Singapore. Most recently, she served as Claims Manager for Specialty Risk and Cyber in APAC, where she established and built the region's claims offering.
