Berkley Insurance Asia names Omi Lok as new head of casualty

Lok carries more than 20 years of experience in both the retail and reinsurance markets across Asia.

Berkley Insurance Asia has appointed Omi Lok as the Head of Casualty - Greater China, the insurer shared on LinkedIn.

As part of Berkley's growing team of underwriting talent, Lok’s extensive experience and established network of relationships in Asia will be valuable assets. 

She will be based in Hong Kong and will be reporting to Esther Kwok, who is the Head of Commercial Lines for Greater China.

Lok carries more than 20 years of experience in both the retail and reinsurance markets across Asia.

Her expertise lies in various areas, including Combined General & Products Liability, Global Programs, Excess/Umbrella Liability, ME&O (Multinational Enterprises & Operations), Recall, and specialty industry segments like technology, life sciences, clean tech, and advanced manufacturing. 

Lok holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Australia.
