Canopius taps Olivia Brindle as head of sustainability

She will report to Lindsay Astor, chief of staff and head of strategy.

Canopius Group, a specialty and property and casualty (re)insurer, has appointed Olivia Brindle as Head of Sustainability, effective immediately. 

Brindle will report to Lindsay Astor, Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy.

In her role, Brindle will oversee Canopius’ internal and external sustainability initiatives, ensuring these efforts align with a cohesive strategy to enhance the company’s environmental and social resilience. She will also establish and maintain guidelines for sustainable underwriting whilst promoting new products that support the company’s sustainability goals. 

Brindle brings 16 years of experience spanning consulting, financial markets, and (re)insurance. Prior to joining Canopius, she worked at Swiss Re, initially in property and casualty solutions and later as a senior member of the investor relations team.
