China Taiping Insurance announces new Singapore chief
He was formerly part of the Singapore business back in 2006.
China Taiping Insurance today announces the appointment of Zhang Zhongyi as the Chief Executive of its Singapore business, where it operates as a composite insurer.
Zhang has a wealth of experience spanning nearly three decades across various multinational financial and insurance companies with 21 years of service dedicated to China Taiping Insurance Group. During his tenure with the Group, he has held many key roles in Marine, Reinsurance, Overseas Management and the latest as the General Manager of International Department in Hong Kong. He was responsible for the Group’s international development strategy & support of overseas subsidiaries. He also sits on the Boards of the Group’s overseas subsidiaries including the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, and Singapore.
He had also worked in China Taiping Insurance Singapore between 2006 and 2008 where he was in charge of Commercial Lines, Credit Insurance, Marine Insurance, Personal Lines, and Business Development Department
China Taiping Insurance Singapore is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company Limited.
