Chubb announces country president for Korea segment

Janice (Jae-Kyung) Mo will be succeeding Edward Kopp.

Chubb has announced the appointment of Janice (Jae-Kyung) Mo as the Country President for their general insurance business in Korea, pending regulatory approval. 

Mo currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for property and casualty, claims, and corporate strategy within the company. 

In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the overall performance of Chubb in Korea.

Mo's appointment is set to take effect on 1 September. She will report to Paul McNamee, the Regional President for Asia Pacific. 

Mo will be succeeding Edward Kopp, who will be taking on the role of Regional President of the Far East, and Country President, of Japan.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, Mo joined Chubb in 2014 as the Head of property and casualty and agency distribution management. 

Her earlier career includes a 10-year stint at AIG, where she was the Head of Commercial Insurance for Korea. 

She also has a decade of banking experience from her time at Deutsche Bank, where she held the position of Vice President, Global Banking in Korea.

Mo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Southern California.
