Ex-AXA exec joins FWD Group as new group chief risk officer

He has over 30 years of experience in various risk, finance and actuarial roles.

FWD Group Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Jeremy Porter as Group Chief Risk Officer, subject to regulatory approval. 

Porter will be a member of the Group Executive Committee and will report directly to Huynh Thanh Phong, Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of FWD Group.

Porter joins FWD from AXA where he held the same position for Hong Kong and Macau. Porter has over 30 years of experience across various risk, finance and actuarial roles. He will lead the Group’s risk and compliance functions, succeeding Niall Grady who had been serving as interim Group Chief Risk Officer as well as Group Chief Compliance Officer since April 2022. 

Niall will remain in his role as Group Chief Compliance Officer and will report to Jeremy.
