FWD hires Manulife veteran to lead HNW business

Bensman spent 18 years at Manulife and helped build its private client operations.

FWD Group has appointed Mark Bensman as Chief Officer of its high-net-worth (HNW) business, as the insurer expands its private client operations across Asia and offshore markets.

Bensman joins FWD Group with more than 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry. 

He most recently served as Chief Distribution Officer at Manulife, where he spent 18 years helping build the insurer’s HNW business.

FWD’s HNW business currently operates from Hong Kong SAR, Singapore and Bermuda, offering onshore and offshore insurance solutions for HNW and ultra-HNW customers.

The appointment takes effect on 25 May.
