Great Eastern launches new plan to make private care affordable
The plan includes lifetime coverage for congenital conditions.
Great Eastern has launched a new Integrated Shield Plan (IP) designed to make private healthcare more affordable whilst maintaining high-quality coverage.
The new plan, P Prime, offers one of the market’s highest annual coverage limits at $2.23m (S$2.9m), with out-of-pocket expenses capped at $5,005 (S$6,500) per year.
Customers can access treatment through Great Eastern’s network of private hospitals, specialists, and day surgery centres at lower premiums.
The plan includes lifetime coverage for congenital conditions, up to 365 days of post-hospitalisation physical therapy, and outpatient benefits of $7,700 (S$10,000) for post-cancer and $1,540 (S$2,000) for post-stroke recovery.
Great Eastern also enhanced its Restructured A-ward plans for public hospital coverage, increasing benefits to an annual limit of $1.08m (S$1.4m) and capping eligible bills at $2,310 (S$3,000).
Great Eastern is also helping customers manage the complexities of medical treatment through its dedicated in-house medical concierge. Since its launch in 2024, this medical concierge service has benefitted more than 10,000 customers.
