Heng An Standard Life adds two Barings income funds in Hong Kong

Barings said the new funds are aimed at investors seeking income whilst managing risk.

Heng An Standard Life (Asia) Limited (HASL Asia) and Barings have partnered to expand the range of income-focused funds available on HASL Asia’s investment-linked insurance platform in Hong Kong.

The platform currently offers the Barings Senior Secured Bond Fund and the Barings Developed & Emerging Markets High Yield Bond Fund. 

It will now add the Barings Income Navigator Fund and the Barings Global Investment Grade Credit Fund. These two funds will be offered exclusively on HASL Asia’s platform in the first half of 2026.

Barings said the new funds are aimed at investors seeking income whilst managing risk amidst market volatility and changing interest rate conditions. 

The Barings Income Navigator Fund is a flexible multi-strategy credit fund that allocates across investment grade and high-yield assets based on market conditions, with a focus on income and capital preservation. 

The Barings Global Investment Grade Credit Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of global investment grade corporate and government debt, including fixed and floating rate instruments, to generate income and potential capital appreciation.
