Insurance Asia Awards 2020 is now open for nominations

Deadline for submission of entries is on 28 February 2020.

As personal and business risks increase and various fintech firms emerge, insurance companies are forced to come up with creative strategies and make hard-earned strides towards digitisation to better serve their clientele and remain relevant.

In this regard, Insurance Asia is pleased to announce that this year’s Insurance Asia Awards is now open for nominations.

On its fifth year, Insurance Asia Awards 2020 aims to recognise insurance firms that can navigate around various market challenges whilst keeping clients satisfied and maintaining fruitful revenue.

Last year, over 54 exceptional insurance companies from 18 countries were recognised at the fourth edition of the Insurance Asia Awards held at Shangri-La Singapore. The event beat 2018’s record after gathering nearly 120 senior executives from the insurance industry.

Insurers can nominate and be nominated in two divisions: Country Awards and Regional Awards.

Categories under the Country Awards are as follows:

  • Domestic General Insurer of the Year
  • Domestic Life Insurer of the Year
  • International General Insurer of the Year
  • International Life Insurer of the Year
  • Direct Insurer of the Year
  • Claims Initiative of the Year
  • New Insurance Product of the Year
  • Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year
  • CSR Initiative of the Year
  • Marketing Initiative of the Year
  • Domestic Broker of the Year
  • Insurance Start-up of the Year

Meanwhile, the Regional Awards include the following categories:

  • Asian Reinsurer of the Year
  • Asian Credit insurer of the Year
  • International Broker of the Year
  • CEO of the Year

Nominees will be evaluated by an elite panel of judges, and winners will be invited to attend the awarding ceremonies in Singapore on 7 July 2020.
