Lockton names Piers Hughes as regional head of insurance

He has been in the industry for more than two decades.

Piers Hughes has been appointed as regional head of insurance for Asia at Lockton.

Hughes is based in Singapore and has been with the US-headquartered insurer for almost four years. He was previously the regional deputy head of reinsurance in the international segment.

Hughes started in Lockton Companies back in 2002 and stayed for nearly eight years. Soon after he joined and played major roles in companies such as Price Forbes & Partners, Howden Insurance Brokers, and Miller Insurance.
