Marsh launches Cyber Echo Encore, boosting cyber insurance capacity
It also provides up to $45m in additional cyber insurance capacity.
Marsh launched Cyber Echo Encore, an enhancement to its Cyber Echo insurance facility and provides Marsh clients with up to $45m in additional cyber insurance capacity.
Cyber Echo, underwritten by London market insurers outside of Lloyd’s, introduced in 2016, is the largest cyber insurance facility of its kind, offering up to $125m in coverage.
To date, it has delivered nearly $50b in insurance to around 500 clients worldwide.
Cyber Echo Encore extends the programme beyond the Lloyd’s market whilst preserving features such as simplified underwriting, easy placement, and efficient claims handling.
It also includes the ability to reinstate coverage within an underwriting year after a loss.
Serena France-Hayhurst, UK Cyber Placement Leader at Marsh, noted that as cyber threats continue to escalate, companies are seeking standalone cyber insurance to address complex risk profiles.
