MS Amlin appoints two executives to leadership team
Kirsten Mitchell-Wallace and Phil Young will report to CEO Christiern Dart.
Global insurer and reinsurer MS Amlin has appointed Kirsten Mitchell-Wallace as Chief Risk Officer and Phil Young as Chief Information Officer.
Both new executives will join the company’s executive leadership team and report directly to CEO Christiern Dart.
Mitchell-Wallace, who starts her new role in the coming weeks, has previously held senior roles at OAK Global, Lloyd’s of London, and SCOR.
Her experience covers risk appetite, capital and exposure management, and regulatory engagement. She replaces current Chief Risk Officer Vishal Desai, who is moving to MS Amlin’s parent company, MSIG, to become International Chief Risk Officer on its new International Executive Committee.
Young will join the firm in the third quarter of the year. He joins from senior roles at Virgin Group, Amazon Web Services, and
Transport for London, where he managed large-scale platform, data, and digital change programmes.
