MS Amlin opens financial lines in Middle East

Tom Horswill will lead this new venture.

MS Amlin, a global (re)insurer based at Lloyd's, has expanded its offerings in the Middle East by introducing Financial Lines cover. 

This move comes in response to the region's growing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and Initial Public Offering (IPO) activities. 

Tom Horswill, an expert with over 18 years in Financial Lines, will spearhead this new venture, moving from London to Dubai.

Reporting to Vipul Gupta, the Senior Executive Officer and Lead Underwriter, Horswill will oversee the provision of Director & Officers insurance, Commercial Crime & Bankers Blanket Bond, Financial Institutions Professional Indemnity, and Public Offering of Securities Insurance. 

This expansion builds on MS Amlin's existing services in Dubai, which include Hull, Political Violence, Cargo, and Credit and Political Risk insurance.
