Ping An keeps China top insurance brand for 10th year

Brand Finance Global 500 2026 put the group at 32nd worldwide on Jan 21.

Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China has been named China’s most valuable insurance brand for the tenth consecutive year, according to Brand Finance’s Global 500 2026 report released on January 21.

The group’s brand value rose 13% year on year to $48.84b.

Ping An ranked 32nd globally, up three places from 2025, and 10th among all Chinese brands.

In the first nine months of 2025, Ping An posted operating revenue of $126.2b (RMB901.7b).

Operating profit attributable to shareholders increased 7.2% to $16.3b (RMB116.3b), whilst net profit rose 11.5% to $18.6b (RMB132.9b). 

By end-September 2025, the group served nearly 250 million retail customers.

Technology helped improve operations, with 58% of life insurance claims settled instantly, AI cutting potential fraud losses by $1.3b (RMB9.15b), and AI handling 80% of customer service interactions.
