Ping An ranks 53rd in the Fortune 500 list 2024

Marking their 15th consecutive year on the list.  

Ping An Insurance ranked 53rd on the Fortune 500 list for 2024, with a revenue of $14.6b.

This is the 15th consecutive year Ping An has been included in the Fortune Global 500 list. 

The group also ranked 9th amongst global financial enterprises and 5th amongst Chinese financial enterprises.

Ping An achieved an operating profit of $16.4b (RMB117.99b), with total assets exceeding $1.6t (RMB11.58t).

Ping An P&C achieved insurance revenue of $43.6b (RMB313.46b), a YoY increase of 6.5%. 

New business value (NBV) in life and health insurance increased by 36.2% YoY on a comparable basis, and the NBV through agents increased by 40.3% in 2023. 

Customers entitled to service benefits in the healthcare and senior care ecosystem accounted for over 73% of Ping An Life's NBV. 

Ping An cumulatively invested over $1.2t (RMB8.77t) to bolster the economy at the end of 2023.  

Meanwhile, Green insurance premium income amounted to $5.2b (RMB37.30b).
