Prudential debuts wellness support for children
The platform was introduced alongside Prudential Entrust Multi-Currency Plan.
Prudential Hong Kong Limited launched PruNextGen, a value-added service platform focused on education, skills development, and wellness support for children.
The platform was introduced alongside the new Prudential Entrust Multi-Currency Plan, which aims to provide flexible legacy planning and support for children through key life stages.
PruNextGen is supported by seven partner institutions, including HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE), Crimson Education, Britannia, ARCH Education, Shining Child & Family Development and Assessment Centre, EC Healthcare, and Quality HealthCare Medical Services.
According to Prudential's “Financial Wellbeing Tracker” survey, 90% of Hong Kong parents with children under 15 believe unconventional education offers the best prospects for their children, yet only 33% have taken steps to pursue this path.
Eighteen percent of respondents admitted they have no plans to do so.
At the core of PruNextGen is the “Future Institute”, featuring two main programmes. “NextGen Visionary Ventures”, developed with HKU SPACE, is a five-day workshop held at the University of Hong Kong that covers financial literacy, wealth psychology, creative thinking, and digital communication.
The second offering, Crimson Education’s “Future Intelligence Programme”, consists of free online courses taught by international scholars. Topics include global presentation skills, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and writing. Crimson also provides exclusive education consulting services to Prudential customers.
