Prudential to see stable earnings: Fitch Ratings

Fitch noted that Prudential continues to operate with low financial leverage.

Fitch Ratings expects Prudential plc to maintain strong profitability and a solid capital position, supported by a focus on high-quality new business and low financial leverage.

The rating agency said the group’s outlook remains positive, reflecting expectations of sustained earnings strength and prudent capital management.

Fitch said Prudential’s improved profitability is driven by its shift toward quality growth, which it views as sustainable.

The agency also noted that Prudential continues to operate with low financial leverage and strong fixed-charge coverage.

The company has no significant refinancing plans in the medium term, which Fitch said supports continued financial stability.
