QBE reshuffles Asia leadership two 2 Hong Kong hires
Patrick Karlowski will oversee regional strategy operations and transformation programmes.
QBE has announced two senior appointments to its Asian leadership team, both to be based in Hong Kong.
Patrick Karlowski has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer for Asia, effective 29 June 2026.

He succeeds Klaas Dijkstra, who has moved into the role of Chief Information Officer for the company's international division.
Karlowski will report to Nathan Fuller, the international Chief Operations Officer, with a secondary reporting line to Rob Kosova, the Chief Executive Officer of QBE Asia.
In his new role, Karlowski will oversee QBE Asia’s business strategy, operations and transformation programmes, focusing on regional growth and operational performance.
Florence Chan will join the company as Head of Data, Analytics and AI for Asia, effective 13 July 2026.

She will report to Shrenik Dagli, Group Head of Data, Analytics and AI, and will also maintain a secondary reporting line to Karlowski.
Chan will lead the regional data and analytics team, where her responsibilities include executing QBE's artificial intelligence roadmap and implementing technology to assist with business decision-making.
