CPF members aged below 55 will earn an extra 1% interest on the first $44,416 (S$60,000) of their combined CPF balances. For members aged 55 and above, an extra 2% interest will be earned on the first $22,208 (S$30,000), and 1% on the next $22,208 (S$30,000).
The Special, MediSave, and Retirement Accounts will continue to have a guaranteed floor interest rate of 4%, whilst the Ordinary Account will maintain a floor rate of 2.5%.
The Basic Healthcare Sum (BHS) for members aged below 65 will increase from $52,929 (S$71,500) to $55,890 (S$75,500) in 2025. Members who turn 65 years old in 2025 will have their BHS fixed at $55,890 (S$75,000), which will remain unchanged for life.
CPF members can contribute to their MediSave Account (MA) up to the BHS. Contributions exceeding the BHS will be automatically transferred to the member’s other CPF accounts.
Members with balances below the BHS are not required to make top-ups to their MA and can continue withdrawing from it for approved medical expenses.
