Sompo Thailand policyholders benefit from lounge access for delayed flights

Sompo Insurance Thailand and Collinson International, an airport experiences and customer engagement solutions company, partnered to introduce the Sompo Smart Delay feature, providing travellers with instant access to over 1,600 airport lounges worldwide in the event of flight delays.
The integration of Collinson's SmartDelay solution into Sompo's TravelJoy platform allows single-trip and annual policyholders to receive automatic digital lounge access vouchers during delays.
These vouchers grant immediate access to lounges and other travel experiences, enhancing the travel experience for eligible customers.
As of June last year, 33 million travellers across the Asia-Pacific region experienced flight delays exceeding one hour.
According to research by Priority Pass, six in ten travellers report heightened stress and difficulty disconnecting during their trips due to preflight disruptions.
