Swiss Re ties up with Wysa for first AI-based mental health support app in Australia

The insurers are working to build similar products to cater to other regions.

Swiss Re Reinsurance Solutions has partnered with Wysa Assure to offer an AI-built mental health support application through MLC Life Insurance.

Australia will be the first market to witness the benefits, as MLC Life Insurance pioneers the use of this solution. 

Wysa Assure is being introduced as a pilot to MLC Life Insurance's retail customers under its Vivo program.

The platform offers various features, including stress-relief programs, therapeutic techniques, exercises, and a well-being score, all designed to assist users in maintaining their mental and emotional wellness.

The entities are working to build similar product partnerships with insurers in other regions.
