Texel expands Singapore team with seasoned brokers

Both will report to Angela Chang, managing director.

Texel Group, a specialist in credit and political risk insurance brokerage, announced the addition of Hélène Heas and Davis Ng as brokers in its Singapore office, reporting to Angela Chang, managing director of Texel Asia. 

Heas joins Texel after nearly a decade at Coface, where she was the regional head of Financial Institutions for APAC. Prior to that, she held a role in loan syndications and sales at Crédit Industriel et Commercial in France. She also has qualifications as a Certified Trade Finance Professional from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and experience in trade credit insurance. 

Ng, with 15 years of experience in financial services and investments, was most recently executive director at Arcor Capital. His background includes roles in structured finance at SMBC, GE Capital, and ANZ Bank, with a focus on private capital transactions. He is completing an MS in Finance from NYU Stern.
