Tokio Marine eyes AI-adoption boost with partnership
It signed a partnership agreement with Salesforce Japan.
Tokio Marine Holdings and Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire has partnered with Salesforce Japan to accelerate the insurer’s use of artificial intelligence (AI) and data in customer-facing operations.
The agreement will extend Tokio Marine’s existing use of Salesforce products — including its agency management platform TNEXT and contact-center systems — by integrating Salesforce’s autonomous AI agent, Agentforce, into contact centres, agencies and branch offices.
Agentforce is a no-code/low-code autonomous AI agent that allows selection from multiple large language models, the companies said.
Under the partnership, Tokio Marine and Salesforce specialists will work on redesigning business processes with advanced AI, combining customer data platforms with AI to deliver recommendation systems tailored to customer needs, and building AI-enabled contact centres to streamline the flow from policy enrolment to after-sales service.
Additionally, Tokio Marine said it will invest in building internal skills for AI-driven process transformation and system development to support ongoing digital initiatives.
