Tokio Marine’s GCube expands footprint in Australia

The firm is also expanding its presence in Spain.

GCube Insurance is opening new offices in Australia and Spain and expanding its underwriting and claims teams with new appointments in Europe and North America.

The firm will now have a presence in Tokio Marine’s Sydney office. The move is part of GCube’s plan to expand its presence in Australia and Asia Pacific.

GCube, a specialist underwriter for renewable energy projects, has been a specialist in renewable energy insurance for over 25 years. In May 2020, Tokio Marine HCC acquired the company, expanding its presence in the renewable energy insurance market.
