Transamerica Life Bermuda reveals new COO

Brian Chui will spearhead operations, which include new business, underwriting, customer service, and claims.

Transamerica Life (Bermuda) has appointed Brian Chui as Chief Operating Officer (COO). 

Formerly Chief Risk Officer at TLB since 2019, Chui will now lead operations, including new business, underwriting, customer service, and claims. 

Based in Hong Kong, he has been with Aegon Asia since 2007, becoming TLB's Head of Risk in 2011. With over 15 years at TLB, Chui's extensive experience includes risk management and various operational functions.

CEO Chirag Rathod expressed confidence in Chui's ability to drive service excellence and uphold TLB's strategic goals. 

Andy Wong relinquished the COO role on November 17, 2023. TLB specialises in serving high net worth (HNW) and ultra HNW (UHNW) individuals, focusing on wealth accumulation and protection.
