Willis appoints Daphne Duan as Asia risk consulting director

She joins Willis from Marsh Asia.

Willis, a business of WTW, has appointed Daphne Duan (Wheal) as director of Strategic Risk Consulting (SRC) for Asia.

Duan, who will be based in Singapore, will lead the SRC Practice, part of Willis’ Engineering, Risk & Analytics division. 

She will be responsible for delivering risk and insurance optimisation services to large and complex companies across the region. 

Her role includes working closely with risk consultants, captive managers, and specialty risk engineers.

She joins Willis from Marsh Asia, where she headed the Specialty and Quantitative Risk Analytics unit. 

Prior to that, she led reserving teams at AXA Partners and Argo Group in London.

Duan is a UK-qualified actuary with 20 years of experience in risk analytics and reserving, having worked in both the UK and Singapore.
