Zopper bags $25m in Series D funding

The company has partnered with 40 insurers and over 2,500 ecosystem players.

Zopper, an Indian insurtech firm, has secured $25m in Series D funding to enhance its digital technology infrastructure by strengthening its insurance distribution platform.

Elevation Capital and Dharana Capital led the round, with participation from Blume Ventures. Other backers include Creaegis, Bessemer Venture Partners, and ICICI Venture.

The company aims to further develop its capabilities in data science, data engineering, and artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Founded in 2011, Zopper enables insurers to create byte-sized, integrated insurance solutions for their partners through customised application programming interfaces (APIs) on its software-as-a-service platform.

It  has partnered with 40 insurers and over 2,500 ecosystem players, leveraging more than 1,000 APIs.
