Zurich, Indosat partner to synergise telecom and insurance offerings

100 million Indosat users will have access to Zurich’s products.

PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk (Zurich) and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) have partnered to integrate telecommunications and insurance services within a single application.

The partnership will allow Indosat's user base of over 100 million to access various insurance products through the myIM3 and bima+ platforms.

Zurich will offer products such as postpaid bill reimbursement and travel insurance covering flight cancellations, lost luggage, and emergency medical needs.

Future plans include hospital cash plans and cracked screen insurance, aiming to provide affordable and comprehensive protection options.

Indosat is also introducing a Free Postpaid Bill Protection plan for postpaid customers, offering coverage against serious health risks upon purchasing or renewing a plan.

This initiative aligns with the Indonesian value of gotong royong, or mutual cooperation, as both companies are committed to providing protection that meets the specific needs of their customers.
