Zurich Resilience Solutions names Robin Matthias as global head

Matthias succeeds Dirk De Nil, who is retiring after a 35-year career.

Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) announced that Robin Matthias will be Global head of Zurich Resilience Solutions, effective 1 March. 

Matthias succeeds Dirk De Nil, who is retiring after a 35-year career in insurance, including 17 years at Zurich.

Matthias carries a background in consulting and has worked with McKinsey for nearly 20 years, including ten as Partner, advising customers from the financial services industry and major European insurers.

He was most recently Senior Vice President & Client Executive at State Street Bank International, managing strategic customer relationships in EMEA and driving growth across complex portfolios. 

In his new role, Matthias will lead over 1,000 risk experts worldwide. He will be based in Zurich and report to Sierra Signorelli, CEO US and Commercial Insurance.
