AXA and HK Express partner for exclusive travel insurance

It includes comprehensive coverage such as medical expenses up to HKD 500,000.

AXA Hong Kong and Macau (AXA) and HK Express Airways have launched an exclusive partnership to offer streamlined travel insurance for travellers.

The collaboration allows HK Express customers to easily opt for "one-click" travel insurance when booking flights on it's official website.

The "HK Express Travel Insurance”, provided by AXA, includes comprehensive coverage such as medical expenses up to HKD 500,000, doubled baggage protection and personal belongings coverage of up to HKD 12,000 for Japan-bound travelers (including HKD 2,000 for mobile phones), and enhanced rental car excess coverage.

It also includes free coverage for children traveling with their parents and provides access to virtual medical consultations and medicine delivery services in selected cities in Japan.

HK Express, part of the Cathay Group and Hong Kong's sole low-cost carrier since 2013, is expanding its fleet and route network, having added four new destinations this year with plans for more routes.

The partnership covers all markets served by HK Express, including Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan China, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
