Anand Sachdev is managing director, country manager for ING in Singapore and head of South and Southeast Asia. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ING’s wholesale banking
business in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and India.
Anand is a seasoned banker with over 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles across Australasia and Asia, spanning Wholesale Banking, Consumer and Business Banking and Enterprise functions. He has deep experience in leading numerous business growth and strategic change initiatives, operations and technology transformation and embedding risk management disciplines.
Prior to joining ING, Anand was chief executive officer, Singapore and chief operating officer, Asia Pacific at Westpac Banking Corporation, where he spent over 17 years across various positions.
He is a Fellow (FCA) of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University.

He began his career in the Singapore Police Force as a Senior Investigation Officer. His focus is on practical, outcome‑driven measures that reduce scam losses while balancing customer experience.
Beaver actively supports industry‑wide collaboration to address evolving scam risks across the region. He was inducted as an IBF Fellow in 2016 in recognition of his contributions to the financial services industry.

Ashmita Acharya joined HSBC in January 2023 as Head of Wealth and Personal Banking, Singapore.
In her current role, Ashmita has oversight across retail and private banking, as well as asset management and insurance businesses in Singapore. In particular, Ashmita is responsible for the delivery of a market leading wealth management proposition, new mobile-first digital capabilities, and a comprehensive range of investment, insurance, payments and lending solutions that support consumer banking clients’ growth and protection needs.
Prior to joining HSBC, Ashmita has built a 20-year long international banking career with Citibank. Her last held position was Head of Retail Banking, Singapore, where she was responsible for the wealth management and mortgage business growth in the City-State. Throughout her tenure with Citibank, Ashmita has covered Wealth Management Sales, Work Place Banking, Client Experience, Marketing, Consumer Strategy, Client Segments, Small Business Banking and Product Management in India, US and Asia across country, regional and global roles.
She has always tried to deliver results, drive transformational thinking, cultivate innovation, navigate ambiguity and ensure accountability. She consciously strives to bring energy and curiosity to problem-solving and project design, and values the power of relationships as much as the end goal.

She has led finance and enterprise transformation projects in her previous positions.
Prior to joining MSIG, she was the Regional CFO, Asia, at Partner Reinsurance Asia.

Shrikant Bhat is the CEO of the AIA Group’s Investments Linked & Pensions Business that includes over $60B of investment assets across the 18 markets that AIA Group serves.
Shrikant Bhat joined AIA group over 6 years ago, as part of AIA Group Investments Management team to set up and oversee the funds strategy. Asia has amongst the fastest growing and largest pools of savings and investments. A veteran wealth management professional with 3 decades of business experience across sales management, product management, retail banking, wealth management, business transformation, treasury and credit cards, he has held various senior positions covering client segments from High Net worth Individuals to Mass Affluent and across diverse functions.
Since his appointment in AIA, he has led the Funds business strategy leveraging his expertise to drive the AIA Group’s ambition to help customers save and invest better for the long term. Starting with establishment of funds vehicles in Luxembourg and Singapore across traditional and private assets respectively, he now heads the Unit Linked and Pensions Business for the Group to partner with Business Units in creating wealth propositions and enhancing investment advisory capabilities to develop AIA’s wealth pillar.
Prior to joining AIA Group in 2019, he was Managing Director and Regional Head of Investments, Citibank overseeing 17 markets in Asia, Europe and Middle East. In that role he was responsible for overall P&L and Investments strategy covering mutual funds, fixed income, structured products, equity brokerage and portfolio finance for consumer banking clients.

Javier Lastra is a Spanish and Luxembourgish insurance executive with 23 years of experience in the international financial industry.
A certified actuary at the age of 22, he began his professional career at EY Spain and KPMG Luxembourg before joining Swiss Life, where he has spent the past 18 years across Europe and Asia.
During his career, he has held CRO and CFO positions and currently oversees the company’s activities in Asia as CEO, member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Swiss Life Singapore.

He began his career in the Singapore Police Force as a Senior Investigation Officer. His focus is on practical, outcome‑driven measures that reduce scam losses while balancing customer experience.
Beaver actively supports industry‑wide collaboration to address evolving scam risks across the region. He was inducted as an IBF Fellow in 2016 in recognition of his contributions to the financial services industry.

Ashmita Acharya joined HSBC in January 2023 as Head of Wealth and Personal Banking, Singapore.
In her current role, Ashmita has oversight across retail and private banking, as well as asset management and insurance businesses in Singapore. In particular, Ashmita is responsible for the delivery of a market leading wealth management proposition, new mobile-first digital capabilities, and a comprehensive range of investment, insurance, payments and lending solutions that support consumer banking clients’ growth and protection needs.
Prior to joining HSBC, Ashmita has built a 20-year long international banking career with Citibank. Her last held position was Head of Retail Banking, Singapore, where she was responsible for the wealth management and mortgage business growth in the City-State. Throughout her tenure with Citibank, Ashmita has covered Wealth Management Sales, Work Place Banking, Client Experience, Marketing, Consumer Strategy, Client Segments, Small Business Banking and Product Management in India, US and Asia across country, regional and global roles.
She has always tried to deliver results, drive transformational thinking, cultivate innovation, navigate ambiguity and ensure accountability. She consciously strives to bring energy and curiosity to problem-solving and project design, and values the power of relationships as much as the end goal.

Shrikant Bhat joined AIA group over 6 years ago, as part of AIA Group Investments Management team to set up and oversee the funds strategy. Asia has amongst the fastest growing and largest pools of savings and investments. A veteran wealth management professional with 3 decades of business experience across sales management, product management, retail banking, wealth management, business transformation, treasury and credit cards, he has held various senior positions covering client segments from High Net worth Individuals to Mass Affluent and across diverse functions.
Since his appointment in AIA, he has led the Funds business strategy leveraging his expertise to drive the AIA Group’s ambition to help customers save and invest better for the long term. Starting with establishment of funds vehicles in Luxembourg and Singapore across traditional and private assets respectively, he now heads the Unit Linked and Pensions Business for the Group to partner with Business Units in creating wealth propositions and enhancing investment advisory capabilities to develop AIA’s wealth pillar.
Prior to joining AIA Group in 2019, he was Managing Director and Regional Head of Investments, Citibank overseeing 17 markets in Asia, Europe and Middle East.
