Indian insurtech Turtlemint raises $46m in funding round

It will use the money to expand its distribution reach.

Online insurance adviser Turtlemint has raised $46m in a Series D funding led by Singapore’s Jungle Ventures, according to a DealStreetAsia report.

Turtlemint said it will use the money to expand its distribution reach and to develop more products in India.

Founded in 2015, Turtlemint has built a network of over 1,000,000 insurance advisers and has partnerships with more than 30 insurers, including HDFC Life, HDFC Ergo, ICICI Lombard, New India Assurance, and Reliance General Insurance.
