AIA Group appoints ex-IHH Healthcare CEO as group chief healthcare officer

Kevin Loh was the managing director and CEO of IHH Healthcare Berhad.

AIA Group has appointed Kelvin Loh as group chief healthcare officer, effective 1 May.

In his new role, Loh will have overall group responsibility for the execution of AIA’s Integrated Health Strategy as well as AIA’s health-related businesses. 

Loh will also be a member of the group executive committee. He reports to Lee Yuan Siong, group chief executive and president.

Loh began his career as a physician in Singapore and has held various leadership roles across both the public and private healthcare sectors over the past 26 years. 

Most recently, Loh was the managing director and CEO of IHH Healthcare Berhad, a healthcare provider operating more than 80 hospitals across 10 markets. 

Prior to his role in IHH Healthcare Berhad, Loh was the group CEO of Columbia Asia Group, a private healthcare provider with operations across Asian markets including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
