QBE Capital Global's outlook stable: AM Best

The ratings reflect the strategic importance of both entities within the QBE group.

QBE Capital Global and its immediate parent, QBE Capital, maintain a stable outlook, thanks to a strong balance sheet and operating performance, a favourable business profile, and effective enterprise risk management, according to AM Best.

The ratings reflect the strategic importance of both entities within the QBE group, where they play a critical role in providing reinsurance protection to the group's operating companies, AM Best noted.

QBE’s centralised groupwide external reinsurance programme is managed through these entities, enabling them to benefit from both implicit and explicit support from the broader QBE group. This support includes contingent capital arrangements and letter of credit facilities, further bolstering their financial stability and operational significance, it added.
