AXA, Doctor Anywhere launches medical teleconsultation services in Singapore

Insured corporate clients can avail of video consultations through Doctor Anywhere’s app.

AXA Insurance has partnered with Singapore-based healthtech firm Doctor Anywhere to bring medical teleconsultation services to its corporate clients, according to a news release.

Insured employees can avail of on-demand video consultations with medical doctors licensed by the Singapore Medical Council through the Doctor Anywhere app. Patients who require medication can have it delivered to their doorstep within three hours of consultation.

Additional benefits include access to marketplaces offering health and wellness products, and scheduling vaccination and health screenings in their own homes.

AXA started to roll out the service to a group of corporate clients following a three-month pilot from October to December last year. They are also collaborating with Doctor Anywhere for a diabetes care programme for customers with diabetes who need critical illness protection. Launched in November 2019, it is available as a complimentary offering to AXA Super CritiCare policyholders.
