AXA Insurance launches issuance investment-linked plan

Customers can choose a mortgage insurance premium running from 10-30 years.

AXA Insurance has launched AXA Wealth Accelerate, an issuance (i.e., no medical underwriting) investment-linked plan that will help the firm differentiate the new offering from most non-insurers’ investment products.

Its features include a start-up bonus over the first five years of up to 200% of first year premium, a coverage against death and terminal illnesses with no insurance charges and a “Life Replacement Option” (LRO), which allows the policyholder to change the life assured to his/her spouse or child below 18 years old.

Customers can choose a mortgage insurance premium (MIP) of 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years and invest in SGD or USD with a minimum annual premium of $3,600 or US$2,520 respectively.

The firm will also roll out its AXA Quick Saver as a limited-time offer, a three-year single premium savings plan with no medical underwriting. It is said to have guaranteed returns in the market at 2.5% pa for three years.
