Fintech and deeptech innovation take center stage in Singapore

SFF X SWITCH will be held from November 11-15.

After three highly successful editions, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Enterprise Singapore and the National Research Foundation (NRF) will once again host the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) and the Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology (SWITCH) 2019 on November 11-15, 2019 at Singapore EXPO.

In a first-of-its kind collaboration, the world's biggest fintech event will be held in conjunction with SWITCH to feature a wide range of week-long activities centred around innovation in finrtech and deep technology.

At the heart of SFF is a FinTech Conference & Exhibition which will explore sustainability; finance and tech; future of finance; investment and global markets opportunities and exponential technologies. This will be held alongside a FinTech Awards, Global FinTech Hackcelerator Demo Day, Global Investor Summit, and Innovation Lab Crawl.

SWITCH, on the other hand, is dedicated to the realms of Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, Health and Biomedical Sciences, Urban Solutions & Sustainability and Services and Digital Economy.

Last year, the two events saw over 55,000 attendees across the public and private sectors with the SFF drawing close to 45,000 participants from almost 130 countries.

"Everything we do in FinTech must always have a larger purpose – to improve the lives of individuals, to build a more dynamic economy, to promote a more inclusive society. This is the FinTech spirit," Ravi Menon, managing director at MAS said at the 2018 event.
