AXA XL names new Singapore country manager

Sylvie Gleises will assume the role effective 1 September.

AXA XL has named Sylvie Gleises as Singapore country manager effective 1 September and subject to regulatory approval, an announcement read.

Gleises is the current global head of revenue synergies and head of client management for APAC and Europe. In her new role, she will oversee the insurance operations and drive AXA XL’s go-to-market strategy in Singapore. 

She will report to Gilles Fromageot, regional manager for Asia, AXA XL.

Gleises joined AXA Group in 2006 and has since held several strategic positions including chief of staff to the group’s former Chairman and CEO Henri de Castries, CEO for Continental Europe and global head of distribution and marketing for AXA Art.
