Cigna rolls out VitalGuard Critical Illness Plan in Hong Kong
The health plan safeguards customers with comprehensive critical illness coverage.
Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong launched its VitalGuard Critical Illness Plan, providing financial protection for customers and their families, with a lump-sum benefit upon diagnosis of a covered illness.
The plan complements traditional medical insurance by safeguarding the financial stability of customers during recovery.
It features a five-year renewable term, guaranteed renewal up to age 85, coverage of US$520,000 (HK$4m) for 110 diseases and surgeries, and a critical illness benefit with 100% payout for 58 critical illnesses.
Other benefits include a 20% advance of the sum insured for early-stage conditions and access to global medical centres for a second opinion.
The plan also offers special promotions available until 31 March 2026, including mental wellness support, premium discounts, and a US$26 (HK$200) Mannings coupon for sums insured of US$65,000 (HK$500,000) or more.
“This plan complements the suite of medical insurance products we offer to provide dual protection—medical and financial—and reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting the health and vitality of those we serve,” Jonathan Spiers, CEO of Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong, said.
