Coalition inaugurates its first active cyber insurance in Australia

It hopes to fortify businesses’ cyber defences.

Coalition has introduced its suite of Active Cyber Insurance products in Australia. Unlike traditional risk transfer, Active Cyber Insurance is tailored for the digital age, collaborating with organisations to enhance their cyber risk understanding, fortify their defences, and thwart potential cyberattacks. It amalgamates assessment, protection, and response into one comprehensive solution.

Policyholders can access a risk assessment to gain insights into their current cybersecurity posture and areas requiring reinforcement.

Through Coalition Control, the company's flagship cyber risk management platform, real-time alerts about vulnerabilities and emerging threats are delivered to assist organisations in identifying risks before they escalate into major disruptions.

In the event of a breach, Coalition's in-house claims team assists businesses in a swift recovery, enabling them to return to normal operations.

Australian brokers can offer Coalition Cyber Insurance and Tech E&O Insurance coverage to businesses with turnovers of up to $2b and no minimum premium requirement. Brokers can begin quoting Coalition's Active Cyber Insurance immediately.
