Crawford & Co. opens new logistics division in Singapore

Dan Yeo will lead the division.

Crawford & Company has launched a new Logistics, Transportation & Freight division in Singapore, aimed at serving insurers covering logistics service providers and freight forwarders.

Arne Eisfeld, Singapore country manager, highlighted the complexity of claims in this sector due to the involvement of multiple parties and service agreements.

These claims range from sprinkler water damage in logistics warehouses to supply chain issues and freight forwarder liability claims. The new team includes adjusters with expertise in both marine and non-marine claims.

The division is led by Dan Yeo, a veteran loss adjuster with over 30 years of experience. He noted the increasing complexity of claims due to the outsourcing of value-added services by logistics and freight providers, which involve integrated supply chains, international laws, and global contracts.
