Etiqa and AIA expand Takaful access via 6,300 agents

It allows Takaful offerings to reach both Muslim and non-Muslim customers in Singapore.

Etiqa Insurance Singapore and AIA Singapore have launched a distribution partnership to increase the availability of Shariah-compliant Takaful solutions in the local market.

This collaboration aims to provide ethical and socially responsible financial options to both Muslim and non-Muslim customers.

Through this agreement, Etiqa’s suite of Family Takaful products will be sold via AIA Singapore and AIA Financial Advisers.

This move utilises AIA’s distribution network of more than 6,300 insurance representatives, the largest tied channel in the country.

The global Takaful market is estimated to grow from US$36.5b (S$46.6b) in 2025 to US$63.6b (S$81.3b) by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of 11.7%.
