FWD Singapore reshapes leadership ahead of 10th year
The leadership changes will be effective on 1 January 2026.
FWD Singapore has announced changes in its leadership structure to support the company’s 10th year of operations in 2026.
Chief Financial Officer Candy Goh will broaden her role to include oversight of the Legal function in addition to her current responsibilities for the finance, actuarial and data analytics function.
Also, Henry Chua, Chief Technology Officer, will take on the role of Chief Technology & Operating Officer.
Chua has led the development of the company’s digital ecosystem and modern technology infrastructure. He has over 20 years of regional and Singapore-based experience in technology and operations across the insurance industry.
Chua also led the IT function for a multinational insurer, delivering its enterprise-wide technology roadmap.
Alongside him is Emily Wong, the current Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, Wong will take on a new role as Deputy COO for
FWD’s business in Hong Kong, which is amongst the largest markets for FWD Group.
Lastly, Alvin Soh is appointed Chief Distribution & Marketing Officer for FWD Singapore.
He will manage the Financial Advisory, Bancassurance and Digital Commerce channels, together with the Product, Brand and Marketing functions.
Soh, a qualified actuary, has more than 15 years experience in the insurance sector, bringing a strong combination of distribution management, mergers and acquisitions, and financial stewardship across Southeast Asia.
He also served as Interim Chief Financial Officer for FWD Singapore over the past six months.
The following leadership changes will be effective on 1 January 2026.
