HDI Global debuts energy unit for full coverage

Franz Adamczyk will lead the new unit.

HDI Global has launched an Energy Unit to provide risk coverage across the entire energy value chain, including Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, and Renewables.

The Energy Unit aims to streamline cross-divisional collaboration, bringing together expertise from Commercial and Specialty Lines, the Claims department, and HDI Risk Consulting.

The new unit consolidates the company's expertise in energy risks, offering a single point of contact for clients and broker partners.

Franz Adamczyk, formerly Head of Global Risk Property, will lead the new unit.

Adamczyk brings over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry and will report directly to Dr. Dirk Höring, a member of HDI Global’s Management Board. Höring oversees Property, Engineering, Marine Cargo insurance, and HDI Risk Consulting.

This approach ensures that clients and broker partners receive tailor-made insurance solutions and services to manage risks quickly and effectively.
