India sets open house for insurtechs, fintechs to collaborate

This will be held every 15th day of the month.

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has decided to host Open House sessions for InsurTech and FinTech firms.

The initiative aims to encourage dialogue and promote technological innovation across various aspects of insurance-related activities. It also seeks input from InsurTech and FinTech companies to propose effective and smooth solutions and ideas for insurance-related activities.

These innovations are expected to enhance the quality of services provided by insurance companies to policyholders and contribute to increasing insurance penetration in the country.

These Open House sessions will take place at the IRDAI Head Office from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM on the 15th of each month.

If the 15th falls on a holiday, the session will be rescheduled to the next working day. In the absence of the Chairperson, the senior most Whole-time Member, along with senior IRDAI officials, will be in attendance.

All InsurTech and FinTech entities are encouraged to participate in this initiative and present innovative and practical solutions to facilitate the seamless delivery of insurance services to policyholders.
